Janet Cannon is a 25 plus year veteran of sales and management training, organizational development, and human resources. She works as a strategic partner specializing in developing and implementing innovative programs in human resources and sales that optimize profit margins and impact profitability. Getting the right people and retaining the best people in the correct positions in a company is a critical part of this process. She has partnered with Dr. Clarke and Hire Right Testing. Her expertise is focused on manufacturing, IT, medical practices, Dentists, and Veterinarians. Clients have included: Eddie Bauer, Goodrich Landing Gear, United States Internal Revenue Service, National City Bank, City of Medina, CRUSolutions, Western Reserve Bank, Ovation Polymers (Optem), First Communications, Akron Specialized Products, and A. Schulman.

 

Janet’s career spans both consulting and corporate roles. She has extensive experience in managing large corporate and remote field environments. She has held the positions as ICI Paints: Director Sales Training, Stores Division; LESCO: Director, Corporate Training and Organizational Development; , Enron Energy Services: Manager Employee Organizational Development Manager, Reynolds & Reynolds: Strategic Sales & Organizational Development; Great American Insurance: Director of Human Resources and Training.

 

Cannon has a Bachelor of Science, Communications, Illinois State University (Normal, Ill.). She is certified by the American Compensation Association, Development Dimensions International (DDI), Net Speed Leadership, and Aarthun Performance Group. A frequent guest instructor on measuring training ROI at area universities, she is also certified in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and a member of SHRM.
